The formation mechanisms and evolution features of polar Ionospheric irregularities and their impacts on magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling and space weather.

The polar ionospheric upflow and outflow as well as the processes of ionospheric ions escaping into the interplanetary space.

The Magnetosphere-Ionosphere Coupling and Dayside Magnetopause Dynamics by coordinated the space-based (MMS/Cluster/Double Star/THEMIS/SWARM/DMSP) measurements and ground-based observations (including the observations from SuperDARN, Incoherent scatter radars, GNSS recevers, all sky cameras, and so on).

The behavior of the ring current and the effect of eternal influences on the geomagnetic field by investigating ten years of Cluster observations.

The polar ionospheric scintillations and their modelling.
