n 2005, University of Alabama in Huntsville, PhD, Astrophysics. Working on black-hole X-ray binaries, emphasizing on the impact of relativistic effects on X-ray emission

n 2005 to now, research scientist, Max-Planck institute of Extraterrestrialphysics (MPE)

Working on the spectrometer (SPI) on the International gamma-ray laboratory (Integral), maintaining the INTEGRAL database and science house-keeping database in MPE, monitoring the SPI instrument performance, data quality, instrument calibration, as well as research with SPI data on searching for line transients, electron-positron annihilation, gamma-ray bursts.
